LBR sought an agency to help expand their product offering with a valuable new time-saving insights tool targeted at subscribers of its leading brand, GCR (Global Competition Review). The new tool - Enforcer Tracker - allows time-poor users within the legal community to access, discover and be visually presented with data on the enforcement of competition law globally.
Clock worked closely with LBR to build a tool that enables subscribers to access and search for, filter and analyse every significant merger or cartel enforcement action undertaken by the world's major competition agencies. These cases have been standardised and are searchable by basic facts, industry, agency and date, as well as by the type and level of enforcement, and by the outcome.
The data visualisation makes the content more easily digestible to the user, and we applied existing GCR brand assets to the look and feel of the Enforcer Tracker.
Two datasets populate the Enforcer Tracker tool, one of which is an internal LBR dataset called HRE (Historic Rating Enforcement) - which displays historical trends in law enforcement - the other, an external dataset called ET (Enforcer Tracker) - provides context to those trends and will allow more in-depth drilling.
The aim for the business is to increase the value proposition to subscribers of GCR and therefore embed the tool into their own workflows, ultimately helping drive subscription renewals.
The user goal of the Enforcer Tracker tool is ultimately knowledge and the ability to digest to scour data quickly, therefore giving them a competitive advantage.
The outcome is an insightful platform that will become a vital tool not just for clients but for internal business use, and allow them to easily compare and analyse relevant cases from around the world of antitrust, giving them a competitive advantage.
Clock will continue to accommodate the needs of LBRs digital strategy as they grow and develop the tool with new functionalities, with the concept of this product eventually being rolled out across other LBR brands, watch this space…
